Share your thoughts on the hunt for Marwand the Assassin and its outcome.ĭoug: I was glad to see Eve go after him. If Adalind keeps this development secret for any extended period of time, though, I can't imagine Nick and company being thrilled when the truth eventually does come out. It could serve as a contrast to the descent-into-evil arc Juliette had last season. I think it might be interesting for the writers to go the way Robin suggested, with Adalind struggling against giving into her evil ways once more like an addiction. "Terrified" would probably be a more accurate description.
Kathleen: Adalind clearly does not seemed thrilled by the prospect of her 'biest returning. I think the rest of the team will want to help her be the nice version of herself, whether it means getting rid of the Hexenbiest powers, or helping her manage them. She has a child now, and I think that will make a difference, though it will be a struggle. Robin: Besides lots of fun for me as a viewer?!? I honestly think that Adalind has more fortitude than she gives herself credit for, and that she will be able to resist the urges of her Biesty self when it matters. I'm honestly excited to see how Adalind changes as her powers come back. because hope is a direct descendant of klaus, an original vampire, she owes her unique blood, which has the same properties as doppelganger blood in binding the vampire and werewolf nature of a creature into one single being, to tatia's sacrifice.Allison: She could lose her place with Team Grimm, and all the trust she has built up with everyone will be threatened. as i understand correctly, doppelganger blood is a powerful binding agent, when esther turned her children into vampires, an intermingling of complex magics occured, creating an intricate connection between klaus' lycanthropy, his vampirism and the doppelganger blood that completed his transformation in an original, hope is special in a sense that her blood already contains the binding magic that is inherent in the doppelganger blood, transfered to her by her father's vampiric gene because it is the vampirism that carries the doppelganger magic, because she is human (witch) the doppelganger magic is transffered to her, much like a blood transfusion, which is why it works in the same way as Elena's blood (because klaus is undead, as you've explained, the doppelganger magic is inactive), which was why he needed living doppelganger blood to create more hybrids. Esther always knew that there would be more doppelgangers after tatia, and she knew that klaus (eventually) would found her werewolf suppression curse and find its counter-spell, nature made it so that the ritual wouldnt allow the sacrifices to live because if klaus were to ever be the first hybrid, it would be his first instinct to create more of his kind and because he would need the same doppelganger that broke his curse to create his hybrids (Elena) he actually needed elena alive to do so (although he never knew this until later) if bonnie hadnt went against nature's plan, and resurrected elena, klaus wouldnt have been able to create more hybrids, as the blood of future doppelgangers (or even elena's children) wouldnt suffice.
